Our simple two-ingredient recipe and traditional manufacturing process gives our Bulgarian Yogurt its signature tart flavor, naturally creamy texture, and provides you with the proven health benefits of a probiotic superfood (foods whose nutrients are made more readily available to the body and supplemented by the addition of vitamins and minerals through the micro-organisms’ natural lifecycle process).
The majority of the milk we use for our yogurt comes from small to medium-size farms in Texas. No artificial hormones have been used in its production and the milk has been tested for antibiotic content before processing. By federal and state law, any milk found to contain antibiotics must be destroyed. The source cattle are fed a preponderance of grass (fresh grass during grazing or dry in the form of hay) and a grain mix during milking.
Our Bulgarian Yogurt is fermented for a full 24 hours, which greatly reduces the lactose content and aids digestion. We have lactose sensitive and lactose intolerant consumers who report little to no discomfort digesting our yogurt. Visit our testimonial page to read more consumer success stories!

The use of thickeners, stabilizers, preservatives, artificial colors, and added sweeteners has turned yogurt into a health-negative shadow of what it once was. White Mountain Bulgarian Yogurt is a health supporting staple food product meant to be eaten as a meal or as an ingredient in a more complex entrée. Our yogurt contains no thickeners, stabilizers, preservatives, or additives of any kind. We use two ingredients only: milk and culture.

It is made the old-fashioned way from 100% whole milk yogurt…no preservatives, added cream, sweeteners or thickeners. Its lusciously thick, smooth, creamy texture and slightly tart taste are reminiscent of sour cream or cream cheese…with all the probiotic, digestive health and nutritional advantages of our yogurt!
